Many many new tourists and patients are arriving in Costa Rica daily looking to undergo stem cell treatment for many ailments. Conflicting views however are rampant; Tico doctors say they are providing "groundbreaking treatments." On the other hand, scientists in the U.S. and in other countries accuse Tico doctors with offering false hope.
There is a Dr. Fabio Solano, director of the stem cell institute at CIMA hospital, who has treated over 400 patients with better than expected results, leaving many to question their own doubts.
