Mom's second eye surgery
Well, my husband accompanied my mother for her second eye surgery with Dr. Cabezas. She had her first eye surgery about a month ago. The doctor removed a cataract and implanted the lens, and now she went back for the second eye. She was a little nervous, but she knows she's in good hands. The second surgery was much easier on my mother than the first. Dr. Cabezas told her that in her first eye her vision is now 20/20!! That's awesome; a 63 year old woman with perfect vision. How much better than that can it get?
What were the severity of the cats?
In response to Anonymous, I asked Dr. Cabezas and he said it was a mild nuclear sclerosis cataract; severity 1-2. Did you have a chance to look over Dr. Cabezas' full resume on our website?
Was that for both? I reviewed his CV, can it be provided into english? some of it is in spanish. i could use www.av.com babelfish, but the translation doesn't always cross over.
isn't cat surgery considered a more serious in depth procedure than cosmetic or plastic, say as to removing crows feet/laugh lines or other opthy work?
will the price list be updated to reflect this years pricing? any chance the more done, a better lower price could be had?

Anonymous, her left eye was worse off than her right, but she is doing well. She will be back on Tuesday and I'll have more information for you. And of course, the more work you desire, the price does decrease because you only need to pay once for several items, such as the operating room, and the anesthesiologist.
